BeastBoy/Neo Batman Vs Raven Civil War EP. 3

BeastBoy caught up with the other titans, but he was feeling uneasy because of what Raven told him. He knew that if Neo Batman was revealed he had to activate the contingency protocol. But what about that Civil War Raven mentioned? What caused it to happen and how would BeastBoy handle the fact that he had to fight his true love? He was soon distracted from his thought when a robot guard appeared out of nowhere and fired it's laser gun at him. BeastBoy soon morphed in a T-rex and chomped the guard in two. As he morphed back into his normal form, there was a transmission coming from Batman. He went behind the T-ship, while Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire were waiting for Raven to show up.

"Hey Bruce, whats going on?", BeastBoy asked as he looked over to see if the others were listening. 

"Garfield, I spoke with Raven, and it seems that the Civil War she mentioned is getting closer.
She's been having these nightmares since Trigon was destroyed, and the only way the nightmares can
stop is that you have to face her, as Neo Batman", Bruce warned the green hero.

"I know but what about the other Titans? are they involved in her visions?" 

"I don't know."

"Look Bruce, I'll deal with Raven when the Civil War happens, but right now the Brotherhood of evil have to be stopped."

"Okay, Good Luck Garfield."

BeastBoy ended the transmission and saw Raven flying in her part of the T-ship to the meeting spot of the other Titans. Cyborg, Starfire, Robin and BeastBoy, all soon greeted Raven when she got out of her ship. They were ready to head home after they have given out communicators to the other heroes. Unknown to them the Brotherhood of evil has been listening in on their conversations with a stolen communicator. One by one each member of the team goes to help those in distress. But the villains were waiting for them to separate as a ploy to ambush them. 

"How did the brotherhood know where each hero was located?" Beast Boy thought to himself as he went to help Aqualad. Then he felt his heart pumping. "Wait that's not my heart!" Then Beast Boy let out a scream as his part of the T-ship was attacked by Kardiak a villain that resembles a giant heart. As Beast Boy fought his attacker, Starfire went to find Argent, but she was soon ambushed by Kitten and Killer Moth. 

Robin went to see if any of the heroes made it out. He noticed Hotspot and was relieved at first. But soon he morphed into Madam Rouge. "What happened to the communicator I gave HotSpot?" Robin asked the villain.

"You mean the communicator you gave to me?" Madame Rouge then morphed her hand into the T-communicator.

"All my fault," Robin said when he realized his mistake. Then Madame Rouge attacked Robin with her elastic hands trying to capture the Boy Wonder. Robin then froze Madam Rouge with a freeze grenade to buy himself some time to warn the Remaining heroes.

"Calling all Titans, The brotherhood of evil has been listening. I'm breaking off all communications. Good luck to those who are still out there, Good bye." Robin then activated  a button that caused all the T-communicators to self-destruct. Then Madam Rouge morphed and captured Robin bringing him to the Brain.

"There is one minor problem left to take care of; Neo Batman. Once he is captured then we have truly achieved victory," The Brain said to his evil comrades. Mallah then clenched his fist, hoping for the day when he gets revenge against Neo Batman. General Immortus then told his robot guards to scatter the globe and look for Neo Batman.

The Brain added, "Once we have him, we will take of his mask to the world and show them their dark hero is a failure." The villains who helped capture the heroes all cheered. Mallah then instructed the villains that Neo Batman must be brought back alive.

Meanwhile, Beast Boy had defeated Kardiak and arrived at the emergency bunker. Then his Bat-PDA activated his clearance code. Soon he was reunited with Mas, Pantha, Herald, and Jericho. As BeastBoy was gathering his team he noticed a new and improved Neo Batman suit in a display case. "Okay, listen up I won't be going in as Beast Boy but since you are the first to know this, I'm Neo Batman." The other titans looked at each other and laughed. Their laughing soon stopped when Beast Boy activated his scanner. 

"Identity confirmed, Welcome Back Beast Boy. Batsuit version 8.7 ready for deployment." The other titans jaws dropped and soon blushed in embarrassment. While each part of the original suit was almost the same, the newest feature was a laser built into the chest of the bat symbol. It turns red when facing the heavy hitters like Mallah, Cinderblock and others. 

"Alright, let's show the brotherhood of evil just how terrifying I really am," Beast Boy said as he put on the cowl and activated his voice modifier. "They'll be sorry they messed with the wrong hero," He added as the other heroes followed him.

The small group of titans then found cinderblock, and ambushed him. Neo Batman then slashed his claws through the rock villains face as a way to intimidate the other villains. Jericho then took control of CinderBlock and he gathered Pantha Jericho, and Mas while Neo Batman decided to infiltrate the lair and find where the other titans were. At the entrance of the lair mind controlled CinderBlock went in and Neo Batman sneaked in with the help of some dark areas in the corridors. The heroes then ambushed the other villains and were somewhat victorious as they kept looking for their friends. Robin, Raven, Cyborg, and Starfire were cuffed and were not frozen. The Brain had plans for them, he wanted to unmask Neo Batman in front of them. 

There were cameras that were wired to send the transmission to news stations in Gotham and Jump. Raven gritted her teeth at the sight of being watched. "I assure you, you are not the main attraction, a fellow hero is." Elsewhere, Neo Batman was battling General immortus' army of robot commandos destroying them, with slashes and laser blasts. However more and more kept coming and Neo Batman's metabolism was being drained from the energy from his suit. Back in the main floor of the headquarters the other titans were wondering what was with all the cameras. Raven turned her attention to the villains who had triumphant looks on their faces.

Raven warned, "You haven't won, we will beat you!"

Cyborg added, "We won't give up."
Starfire was about to respond when a sliding door open and General Immortus emerged. What the titans saw caused them to gasp in horror.

"Neo Batman? What's he doing here?!" Robin said terrified. "No, does that mean..."

"You've guessed right, Neo Batman is our guest and we are going to reveal who he is to the world." Mallah said with an evil grin.

Neo Batman surrendered himself to the brotherhood of evil. He was cuffed was brought to his knees kneeling to the Brain. "How, unlike you that you surrendered to me. I was hoping you'd put up more of a fight," The Brain said rolling to the dark hero. "Now, before we freeze you, we shall see who you are underneath the mask." He added. Mallah then stood up Neo Batman and tried to remove his mask, but a mask stunner caused Mallah to withdraw his hand in pain.

"Sorry, but one of the titans has a security override to my mask, and only heroes can remove my mask." Neo Batman said. "Free one of the titans, and they can unlock the security to my mask." Madam Rouge slapped Neo Batman, but she restrained herself when The Brain ordered her to stand down.

Mallah then had a laser cannon pointed at Raven. "Tell me who has the override and your fellow dark one will be spared, if not then she will be destroyed."

Neo Batman then told the Brain it was Robin who had the override. "Bring Robin forward," ordered General Immortus. A robot commando then took Robin by his arm and dragged him to Neo Batman.

"It's okay." Neo Batman assured him.

"It's not okay, you'll be exposed, you won't be able to hide," Raven pleaded.

"You need to trust me on this, Robin it's time," Neo Batman told Raven before he turned his attention to Robin.

Robin was then uncuffed and took out the security override to the mask from his belt. He pushed the button and Neo Batman's mask security was deactivated. "Robin, it was an honor being your friend. Now prepare yourself, you might be shocked of who you'll see under this mask," Neo Batman told Robin as the boy wonder approached the dark knight. He put his hand on the sides of the mask, and slowly moved it up. As the mask was finally removed, the titans' their Rogue's gallery, and the Brotherhood of evil all had looks of shock, when Neo Batman was revealed as, BeastBoy.

"The green one?" Mallah asked with a raised eyebrow.

Robin was almost at a loss for words. "BeastBoy?! You're Neo Batman?!!" 

"Whoa!" that was the only word Cyborg could come up with. Raven and Starfire were speechless but Raven was rather angry than shocked. Starfire was at a loss for words trying to comprehend who Neo Batman really was.

"No, It...It can't be!" Raven said as her eyes widened in horror. Then an explosion in the lair occurred where the freezing machine was. Pantha Mas, Jericho and Herald managed to break into the main floor of the lair. When the dust settled, BeastBoy took his Neo Batman mask and engaged Mallah and the Brain while the other heroes battled the other bad guys. An all out battle took place as the heroes who were frozen were freed and they went to help the titans. Neo Batman activated his Rage Mode and began hitting Mallah with fast punches and kicks before kicking him into the freezing machine. After a long fought battle, all the bad guys were frozen with the exception of the Brain. Neo Batman had the brain in his grasp, but the Brain was unfazed by the intimidating bat stare.

"Does it even matter if I have lost? You've been exposed, and now you are the enemy the heroes will try to destroy. If we villains couldn't destroy you ourselves, then maybe we can turn the heroes against each other." The brain said. Neo Batman then clenched the Brain in his hand causing the villains protection to crack, but Robin put his hand on Neo Batman's shoulder.

"If that's true, I'll take my chances," Neo Batman told the brain before tossing him into the freezing machine. Neo Batman then looked at the other heroes and saw Raven walking away in frustration. He then bowed his head and pressed a button on his arm to summon his Batwing.

As the titans were ready to head home, Cyborg then saw Raven alone on a beach looking at the sunset. He tried his best to comfort her. "He lied to us, to me. It doesn't matter what the others think, he's not a titan not anymore," Raven said to Cyborg.

"Raven don't be like this, we're just as shocked as you are. None of us knew..." Cyborg was then interrupted by Raven.

"I don't care Cyborg, he lied and we can't trust him ever again. And if I see him again in the city, I will destroy him!!" She said in a cold tone walking away to the T-ship. A war is coming, the Civil War is happening!!!
